The long anticipated second release "Bits and Pieces" collaboration is finally happening! The release date is looking to be September 1st, 2003! Carey has decided to do a lot of the tunes he used to do in concert that he still gets many requests for, including the title song, the Squirrel Song, the late Shel Silverstein's "Freakin' at the Freaker's Ball", as well as some new tunes, and even a "poem for lovers"! Executive Producer/Initial Engineer this time was David J. Moore. The initial recording was done at Rancho Moore Studio Aug. 4, 2003, and was then retracked, sweetened and mastered by the fantastic Scott Gould at Digital Muse and sent off to DiskFaktory for duping. The comedy CD will be followed by Carey's first original CD, showcasing his versatility. Carey's searing lead guitar work will also get a showcase this time around, plus Carey hopes to feature some of his incredibly talented friends. Keep checking in right here to get the latest updates and news as things progress.
