Carey's Back...

A site dedicated to New England-born/World-bred guitarist Carey Lee Rush - guitarsite.com

MIDI-HITS.COM™ Site of the Week - April 2003

"If you put Martin Mull, Richard Pryor, and Steve Martin together in a blender, added bits and pieces of Elvis, some Jeff Beck, a dash or two of the Beatles, and maybe a pinch of Led Zeppelin, and then pushed the MIX button, you'd probably wind up with something resembling CAREY LEE RUSH"  Steve Cason, KEY WEST CITIZEN Sunday News

"A dynamic personality plus a great guitarist who sings equals CAREY LEE RUSH. That's a formula for success. He's funny, plays to the audience, and has you "rockin' in your seat" with his music, which is quite varied. He's the type of entertainer that once you see him perform, you want to go back for more."  Phyllis Bator, MARCO ISLAND SUN TIMES

"Great guitarist, singer, songwriter and comedian will have you laughing and rocking in the aisles. A must see performer back by popular demand." Carl Thurston, NEW HAMPSHIRE PUBLIC RADIO

"A Local Legend" WECM-FM, WTSL-FM, WTSV-AM, WAIL95-FM, Q106FM, WNTK, WHDQ, WFRD, WCDQ

"My Friday Night Pick...again" Michael Witthaus, EAGLE-TIMES/algorhythms.net

"Very talented and warm stage presence. Yes, he can play that guitar. Nice to have the local boy back in New Hampshire again. Sunapee Community Coffeehouse Concert Series

"Back...way back...when it was rare for a solo artist to explode on stage with the energy of a band, CAREY excelled like no other, spawning many imitators where ever he played."  Ed Vadas -www.edvadasblues.com

For New England gigs - check for blizzards, black ice, black flies, sleet, wind shears, snow drifts, freezing rain, Lyme Disease, Deer Tick Disease, moose, deer, fox,  mosquitoes, gnats (noseeums), Border Patrol checkpoints on  I-91S, acid rain, Spring floods and flu symptoms.

You'd better call ahead to Florida gigs and check during flash floods, severe thunderstorms, tornados, water spouts, red tide, black tide, hurricanes, record cold snaps, sink holes, gators, jetskis,  drought fires, voting recounts, George W. Bush as president, and West Nile Virus mosquito infestations - all of which because Jeb Bush was Governor.

Check all other world locales for their inherent dangers. Party at your own risk. Don't drink and drive.
